MTA NYCTA Contract P-36451 – New Cable Bridge and Replacement of Traction Power & Communication Cables at Coney Island Yard Borough of Brooklyn
Penn Steel’s scope of work in this project includes furnishing over 1,500 Tons of fabricated structural steel. The project primarily consists of approx. 4,300 LF truss structure with eighty-three (83) truss units. The trusses have been fabricated, galvanized, assembled, and shipped to site fully dressed with FRP grating and ancillaries. The project also involves fabrication and delivery of utility poles and steel repair items
PANYNJ Contract EWR 154.395 Newark Airport Terminal A Reconstruction
Penn Steel’s scope of work in the project includes fabricating and delivering eighteen 18 overhead VMS sign structures with spans ranging from 55’ to 130’. The project also includes two cantilever and two ground mounted sign structures. These are all tube sign structures and involved forming of tubes, installation of grating, fencing and misc. equipment prior to delivery.
NJTA Contract A600.102G VMS New and Existing Locations:
Penn Steel’s scope of work in the project includes fabricating and delivering five 5 overhead VMS sign structures with spans ranging from 55’ to 75’. The project also includes three butterfly sign structures. These are all tube sign structures and involved forming of tubes, installation of grating, fencing and misc. equipment prior to delivery.
NYCDOT Contract BRC 156F Structural and Component Rehabilitation of Manhattan Bridge:
Penn Steel’s scope of work in this project includes furnishing multiple repairs for the Manhattan Bridge. Most of these repairs included fracture critical elements.
CTDOT Contract 92-646/647 Upgrade of the IMS Greater New Haven Area:
Penn Steel’s scope of work included fabrication, galvanizing, fitup, assembly and delivery of eleven (11) fracture critical cantilever sign structures. These are all tube sign structures and involved forming of tubes and installation of steel grating prior to delivery.
